Hi, I’m Peta – the face behind Fable Form.
Fable Form was created from a love of storytelling and a mission to help passionate business owners build brands that truly reflect who they are. With over 15 years of experience in the design industry, including 10 years co-running a branding studio in Newcastle. I’ve worked with all kinds of businesses across Australia to craft meaningful brand identities.
I’m especially passionate about working with female founders and purpose-led businesses. Hearing the stories behind why people do what they do and helping them shape that into a visual identity that feels just right is honestly one of the favourite parts of the job.
For me, branding isn’t just about how things look, it’s about how they feel and what they say. I believe the best design comes from a strong sense of direction and I love guiding clients through that discovery process. Once we’ve uncovered your story and vision, the design naturally flows from there.

At Fable Form, I believe in crafting brands with clarity, intention and story at their core. My signature process is designed to guide you through a considered and collaborative journey, from initial idea to a fully-formed brand identity you feel proud to share.
Here's a breakdown of the process:

We begin with a relaxed phone chat to learn all about your business - your story, your objectives and your vision for the future. You’ll also receive a tailored design brief to help me dive deeper into the details that matter most. We'll explore your current market, analyse your competitors and identify opportunities to make your brand stand out with intention and originality.

With insights from our discovery phase, I will begin to shape the strategic direction of your brand. This includes a curated look at your visual identity system, from colour palette and typography to mood boards, logo inspiration and submark styles. This step ensures that every design decision made from here on is grounded in strategy and aligned with your brand’s purpose.

Once the creative direction is approved, the design phase begins. This is where your brand identity takes shape. Using a story-led approach, I create purposeful brand assets that communicate your message with clarity and beauty. It’s a collaborative process, where your feedback is welcomed to ensure the final design feels just right for you.

With your brand identity finalised, it’s time to roll it out into the world. You'll receive a full suite of brand assets including your primary logo, alternate logo and submark in all primary colourways. Along with a custom brand guide to help you stay on-brand as you grow. Making sure you feel confident and excited to share your new visual identity with the world.
